The LinkAlign-20EBI-10 is a Power over Ethernet (PoE) transportable installation tool that automatically acquires and peaks directional side arm mount antennas for microwave frequencies between 11-29GHz as well as millimeter wave bands between 30-90GHz (E-Band) links.

Antenna links with very narrow beam widths often make installation very challenging and time consuming. As a result, excessive misalignment can occur, reducing throughput. The LinkAlign-20EBI-10 installation tool in conjunction with the LinkAlign-20EBI-10-AM antenna mount, guides the installer to first coarsely align the antenna in azimuth using onboard heading sensors. Next the installer simply pushes a button and the installation tool automatically coordinates with the remote side to acquire and peak the link in a matter of minutes. Lastly, the installer secures all the fasteners on the antenna mount and removes the LinkAlign-20EBI-10 installation tool to be used again on the next system install.  The installation tool comes in three styles of heading aids. Use with a GPS Heading Unit for a more accurate heading aid when the desired target  is not clearly visible or a longer link is required. The Optical Sight heading aid is best suited for short links where the target is easily identified. Use no heading aid when the antenna sight features are available and adequate.

The transportable LinkAlign-20EBI-10 installation tool must be paired with the permanently mounted LinkAlign-20EBI-10-AM antenna mount for each antenna install. This product is typically paired with 1-2 ft side arm mount antennas, payloads up to 100 lbs (45.4 kg), and offers +/-10° of azimuth and elevation range.
